Fk5 1979 / Otto Funk

Description

In order to optimize the 18m concept of the FK3 to the usual 15m wingspan most common in those times for racing class gliders, work began on the construction of the FK5 in1979 in the apprentice-training workshop of the VFW in Speyer.

For company-specific reasons, however, construction of the prototype, although 80% complete, was discontinued.
